We are delighted to have achieved BIM Level 2 business certification. A recent third-party audit by BRE assessed Prater in relation to BIM capability and the policy as outlined in the PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91 standards. The findings confirmed our ability to meet the requirements of an employer to implement BIM on a project.
We have long recognised the positive impact BIM and digital engineering can have if fully embraced and successfully implemented. As such, we have made significant investment in people, software and training, and we are now seeing the benefits of BIM first-hand, through the successful and safe delivery of complex construction projects.
Stuart Whiting concluded: “With new legislation dictating that BIM Level 2 certification is compulsory for contractors on major public sector projects, we are delighted that this accreditation will allow us to continue to add to our extensive portfolio within the sector.”
